Welcome to the Kansas City University online scholarship system!

NOTE: The scholarship application is currently OPEN.

To be considered for scholarships you MUST meet ALL the following criteria:

• Be a current KCU student in the COM program
• Be enrolled for the current spring term
• Be a continuing student for the 2021-2022 academic year

Get started on your scholarship search now. It’s as easy as 1-2-3-4!

1. Sign on the system with your KCU Student ID (including the ‘s’ and four zeroes) and password.
2. Complete the General Application and any supplemental applications presented. The system syncs with your data. You are automatically matched with scholarship opportunities for which you meet the criteria and the system provides additional “recommended” scholarships that may be available to you.
3. After you complete the applications, you’re done! If you are awarded a scholarship you will receive an award email to your KCU email. You can also check on the status of your application by logging back into the system at any time.

Things to note:

• This scholarship application will ask for general information as well as information about the following:
  • Your current practice plans – which specialty you are currently considering
  • Academic Achievement Activities – include academic achievement related activities while at KCU
  • Community Service – include community service activities you participated in while at KCU
  • Campus Involvement – include campus activities done while attending KCU.
  • Personal Statement – Select one of KCU’s core values and describe your motivation in becoming a physician as related to that core value. You can include achievements you have made in serving diverse communities, obstacles that you have overcome and experiences that have shaped you in becoming a physician. Please limit this to 350 words.

Reminder! Your completed General Application will be archived and removed from the system in August. You must complete a new General Application at the beginning of each spring semester.
